ormation you want to include in the final, printed sheet. AmiPro ships with several easy-to-use style sheets included in the package. However, there are no resume style sheets included with AmiPro, so I created some. These resume style sheets are a littl
e more complex than an average style sheet because there are more kinds of personalized information you have to put in. To make this part of the task easier, I added a feature which automatically asks you for the information to put in.

<+@><:#1988,9450><:f240,,>The Automated Resume Program uses AmiPro's "query" power fields to help you fill in the blanks. As the name implies, a query power field asks you a question (a "query") in a dialogue box. When you answer the query the power field automatically in

<+!>how they work<-!> here because the Lotus AmiPro documentation does a good job of that already. The Automated resume program is an excellent example of how you can use powerfields to do repetitive tasks for you. Once you understand how power fields wor
k, and the kinds of things they can do in general, the best way to master them is to envision a task that you want to automate and determine if there's a power field that could do it for you. If you want to see the structure of the queries I used in these

<+$>Name, address, phone, experience, education, special interests<-$>, etc. Different kinds of jobs call for different resume styles, and that's why I included three different style sheets. Each one of these resumes emphasizes a different aspect of the
resume preparer's background. They also vary in complexity and in the amount of material they cover. To make the program easier to use I have also included a completed example of each resume style.
<+!>It's a good idea to print out and examine each one of these resume examples before deciding to do one yourself.<-!> In addition, I have included a "blank form" for each resume. Before creating a resume for yourself you should organize all your persona
